Being single does not automatically mean you're lonely.

There's this weird idea that being single is some sort of waiting room.

Great.
They can join me.
They don't have to rescue me from my life.

Here's one of the best things about being single:
I get to choose.
Who gets my time.
Who gets my attention.
Who gets access to my energy.
Who gets a second date.

And most importantly…
What I will and will not settle for.
Being alone can be uncomfortable sometimes.
But being with the wrong person just because you're afraid to be alone?

And don't spend the entire time looking around wondering who's watching you.
Enjoy your own company.
There's something incredibly empowering about realizing:
“I don't need someone else here to have a good time.”
