7 Things Women Think About But Don't Always Say Out Loud

Okay ladies...

Let's be honest for a minute.

There are some thoughts that stay safely locked inside our heads.

The things we think while we're getting ready.

The things we text our best friend about.

The things we almost say out loud...

And then decide, "Nope. I'm keeping that one to myself."

So let's have a little fun.

Here are 7 things women think about but don't always say out loud.

1. "I Want to Feel Desired."

Yep. We said it.

Sometimes you don't want another compliment about how hard you work.

You want someone to look at you like you're the best thing they've seen all day.

You want attention.

Affection.

A little flirting.

That feeling of being wanted can be pretty darn exciting.

And there's absolutely nothing wrong with wanting it.

2. "I Want to Try Something New..."

Sometimes curiosity shows up quietly.

Maybe you've seen something that caught your attention.

Maybe you've thought, "Hmmmm...I wonder what that would be like?"

And then you immediately went back to scrolling like you weren't thinking about it.

Girl...

We know.

Being curious doesn't mean you have to do anything.

It simply means you're human.

3. "I Don't Want to Always Be the Responsible One."

Bills.

Work.

Kids.

Schedules.

Appointments.

Laundry.

Who's cooking?

What's for dinner?

Sometimes you just want somebody else to take the wheel for a minute.

You want to relax.

You want to laugh.

You want to be spontaneous.

You want to say:

"Tonight? I'm off duty."

And honestly...

That sounds pretty good.

4. "Sometimes I Want to Make the First Move."

Who made the rule that woman always have to wait?

Sometimes you want to send the first text.

Plan the date.

Give the compliment.

Make the suggestion.

Turn up the flirting.

Confidence can be incredibly attractive.

And making the first move doesn't make you desperate.

It makes you bold.

5. "I Want More Than the Bare Minimum."

Good morning texts are nice.

Flowers are nice.

Someone remembering your favorite snack is nice.

But effort?

That's the good stuff.

You shouldn't have to beg someone to communicate, show affection, make time for you, or make you feel appreciated.

Wanting effort isn't asking for too much.

It's knowing what you deserve.

6. "I Have a Wild Side."

Maybe everyone sees you as sweet.

Maybe you're the responsible one.

Maybe you're the one everyone comes to for advice.

But somewhere underneath that perfectly put-together exterior...

There's probably a little troublemaker.

And she deserves to come out once in a while.

You don't have to fit into one box.

You can be classy and playful.

Sweet and sassy.

Independent and affectionate.

You can be whoever the heck you want to be.

7. "I Want to Have More Fun."

This might be the biggest one.

Sometimes life becomes so serious that we forget to have fun.

We forget to flirt.

We forget to laugh until our stomach hurts.

We forget to try something just because it sounds exciting.

We forget that we're allowed to enjoy ourselves.

So maybe it's time to bring a little more fun back into your life.

Try something new.

Plan a spontaneous date.

Have a girls' night.

Buy the thing you've been eyeing.

Turn up the music.

Laugh a little louder.

And maybe...

Add a little wink-wink to your weekend.

So...Which One Are You?

Be honest.

Which one made you think:

"Okay... who told you about me?"

Maybe it's one.

Maybe it's all seven.

Or maybe there's something you've been thinking about that didn't make the list.

That's the fun part about being yourself.

You don't have to explain every thought, every desire, or every little mischievous idea.

Sometimes you can just smile...

Keep your secrets...

And give a little wink.
